The relaxed atmosphere at Old Pine Guest House means you can enjoy great days in the glorious house and garden. Some of our old apple- and pear trees were planted by great grandpa in 1920 years. They have delicious fruits every year.
During the hot Hungarian summer there is very pleasant, you can read, relax or do some barbecue under the trees in the shadow. Enjoy a spot of bird watching in the garden; on the fields, at the creek. You'll maybe see woodpeckers, jay's, wagtails and even a heron or two. Spend time lazing on our small creek bridge; watch the fishes and crayfishes in the water. Check out the Hungarian wildlife - including red squirrels, rabbit, fox and deer - while walking in the local woodlands.
The back garden is our vegetable-garden, we grow fresh cucumbers, potatoes, tomatoes, beans and peas and everything we need in the kitchen to cook or bake.
We now have our own free-range organic hens to provide fresh eggs, some bunnies and lambs. Your kids'll be happy to feed them.
Make small trips on the fields or great hiking in the close Irott-kő Naturpark by foot or bike.
